      Assistant Vice President Interview

      27 Apr 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Washington, DC
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at NCARB (Washington, DC)

      Interview

The process took almost 2 months. I was initially contacted by the HR rep (who was very educated about the position and the organization. I then moved on to do panel interview with the hiring manager, another employee, and the HR rep. I finally moved into the final phase with the hiring manager, CEO, and the HR rep. I waited almost a month after the final interview to receive an email that I was no longer being considered for the job. While the decision itself wasn't what I would have liked, I do think that a more personal approach would have worked (especially considering that there was probably only 2 people in the final round).

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

General questions, but I would recommend getting a better understanding of the organization since much of the questions really focuses on the work that they do.
