Interview
Interview is very focused on your personality and in most cases your knowledge of home lending BUT not required. 1. One way interview with questions. - 3 Questions - 90 seconds to record (2 re-attempted + practice run) 2. Group Interview (this is new in 2023 they mentioned) - Group Introduction + induction [explains about you and 1+ interest + about the role, where it will take you, pay structure, other career paths and support) 3. Role play + 1on1 interview - Role play is based on a live example where they test you for customer service and finding a customer solution( they don't assess you on your knowledge of products but more how you interact with a client) 1on1 - They want to know about where you are headed and what your plans are, career goals, feedback etc. (generic stuff + some personal depending) NOTE: They will consider you if you don't have any experience in lending depending on your experience and knowledge. Of course if you have knowledge it will be advantageous. Out of 25 people, apparently, only 5 got hired which means the commercial bankers and seasoned VETS in my interview class didn't get picked. Also my role stated Retail. 12 Months will be over-the-phone lending in Parramatta branch THEN.. move to a retail store after that (this is their original plan when you apply for a role and says "retail "at the end) Rate this post as it will help future people in similar roles just like the other posts helped me prepare for this interview.

Tell us about yourself and your experience where you we're given a tough situation and found a solution. Roleplay 1. tell us a bit about yourself and your experience and 1 unique thing you brought to show and tell 2. Induction of the business and what you are expecting. Role play 1 . Your a nab advisor, client has as scenario. You ask questions to know about the client dn their needs and a solution based ending. 1on1 interview 1. They want to know your goals and objectives being here. My interview ldidn't ask about strengths and weakness etc.

The interviewers were friendly and professional and the process itself was structured and easy to follow. Communication and follow-up were handled well. Overall, a typical corporate experience with no major surprises
