Interview
Ridiculous company. I had only interview with HR and got templated reply next day, that after careful review of your profile we look other candidates, the reply was not personalized. I thought that with my experience and profile i would be at least given a chance to work on coding task and have 1st technical interview, but was rejected immediately after talking to HR. I think human factor plays major role in such decision making, so your success depends mainly on personal mood of your interviewer at specific day of the month. I think i was lucky enough that was honored to be invited to interview with HR, because majority of applicants are filtered out before that stage. I was able to make better interviewing progress with Facebook and Amazon. So, keep your expectations very low when applying with N26, this company thinks very highly of themselves.
Thanks for sharing your interview experience with us. We're sorry to hear that it didn't go how you had hoped. Candidate experience is very important to us, and our team has the ambition to give personal and constructive feedback wherever possible. We'll make sure to pass your feedback on to our Recruiting team.

Application
I interviewed at N26 (Berlin)
Interview
It was the best interview experience, the interviewer would drain all the knowledge you have about any given concepts, they would test your knowledge from all possbile way, it was really interactive,
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at N26 (Hamburg) in Feb 2024
Interview
Talked to the recruiter on the first round and then received a home assignment. After finishing the assignment I received a very poor feedback that really seemed like the person had only read the readme file. In the end I am glad it did not workout.

Interview
6 rounds of the hiring process (CV check, screening, Take-home test, Tech 1.0 (discussion about the code of the take-home test), Tech 2.0 (System Design), and Managerial interview) One of the best hiring processes I have ever had in my life: - fast feedback (in less than 24 hours) after every step - Respectful people - Learned a lot from every stage (especially the System Design phase)
Notes: - Be Honest and precise, these guys will ask you about the details of the details. - I passed all the interview stages, but unfortunately didn't get the offer at the end because of some bad points in both technical and behavioral interviews, I will improve my skills and definitely re-apply after 6 months.

Question 1
Take-home test: Medium network application system (but they really care about the structure and the README file, the security concerns, and how you could deploy it).
Managerial: - tell me about something I can't see in your CV. - what do you expect from your manager? - tell me about a conflict you had with your teammates and manager?
