Interview
The questions were focused on simulation in depth and closely tied to my past experience. They asked many detailed questions about how to reduce the sim-to-real gap and how I would design simulation stacks for their robots. They also asked integration-related questions, such as how I would handle integrating the motion planning stack with my simulation stack.

Interview
I interviewed at Mytra in late 2025 for an IC role and it was an exceptional experience. The process was well-organized and fairly quick. Every person I spoke with - from the front desk on my arrival, to the full on-site interview team, were genuinely engaged and transparent about the company, the role, their experience, and what they're building.
The interview was thorough - know your stuff, but also be sure to relax and show your human side/personality too! Each 1:1 interview during the onsite allowed me to equally assess their fit when considering the position - I found everyone to be transparent. Communication was great throughout, the team was clearly invested in candidate success, and I never felt left in the dark about where things stood.
Above all else, I could tell the recruiting team wanted me to feel supported throughout the process, which made the experience more comfortable than most - so if you have questions ask!
I accepted the offer and it was absolutely the right choice. If you enjoy solving novel challenges collaboratively with a technically diverse and brilliant team - this is it!
