I did two hour-long interviews with the CMO, after which I was told to expect an offer next week and that they were very excited to hire me. After a week of hearing nothing, I followed up twice, after which they gave me a terse email that they were still figuring things out. A week after that (the day after I accepted another offer) I received a form rejection letter. No apology, no explanation, nothing about why I was misled and subjected to such poor communication. I've never seen such unprofessional behavior from a company and I'm glad the offer never came if this is what it would be like to work there .
