I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Multiverse (London, England) in Feb 2021
Interview
The entire recruiting process took about a month and a half as I was very busy at the time and they were very happy to accommodate that for me. Immediately felt like my time and life situation were respected.
I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and accepted to have a video call with them. I was very interested in what they were telling me about Multiverse so I requested another meeting as I still had plenty of questions; they happily accepted to have that. The recruiter guided me through the entire interview journey and always told me in advance who I was going to talk to next and what they might want to know about me.
Afterwards, I had around 4 other interviews with other people in the company. The first couple ones happened very organically and they were just natural discussions about the global state of education, my love for teaching, my background and my personality. I liked to see that my excitement was reciprocated which made me think that Multiverse might be a good place to work at.
As I advanced in the recruiting process, the interviews turned more 'traditional' where you are questioned and having to prove yourself rather than having a casual conversation.
Having accepted the offer now, I'm glad the recruiting process was so thorough as I felt more prepared joining the company and already knowing so many people.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Multiverse (London, England) in Oct 2022
Interview
The interview process is honestly a little difficult and long, but it is so worth it. The people interviewing really made sure I wasn't nervous, knew exactly what was expected and what would be expected for the next step in the interview process. There were 4 in total. I didn't need a great deal of technical knowledge; they're really looking for enthusiasm and empathy. Everyone who interviewed me was truly genuine, friendly and helpful.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Multiverse (London, England) in Feb 2022
Interview
It was a very long 4 stage process, the process could be collapsed into 3 stages. The QA process should be with more than 1 person to avoid a subjective decision.
