      Customer Support Specialist Interview

      9 Oct 2024
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mudflap in Sept 2024

      Interview

I found out how many rounds of interviews for this position was going to happen before applying (which is 4), but I applied anyways. I should've known a company that wants to drag potential candidates through 4 rounds of interviews + a "take-home assessment" was going to be a bunch of bs. First round interview successful, then after submitting the ridiculous take-home assessment I got an immediate reply to move on to next round. The second person I interviewed with was not a good fit to be an interviewer. Potential candidates are interviewing the company just as much as the employers are interviewing the candidates. Clearly they don't want someone with sleuthing skills AND that excels in customer service. As a startup, wouldn't you need a team of people with a useful diverse work background? During the second round, I'm being asked some of the same questions as I did the first round - like make it make sense!! Also, the recruiter from first interview asked if I was currently interviewing with companies... what kind of odd question is that?! Imagine only depending on 1 company to give you an offer, then they reject you. I'm supposed to act desperate?! RAGING RED FLAGS: 4 rounds of inanity. The lazy feedback I got was, "others were more aligned with their current needs". A waste of my time, companies like this are the worst honestly.

      Interview

Was a great experience. Completed my second interview yesterday and am awaiting a response. The person that interviewed me wasn’t feeling his best and that I understood. He was very nice and the interview was more conversational.

      Interview

So you have three rounds of interviews for me I had four because after my CEO interview literally they didn’t tell me oh this is gonna be another interview. They literally just said that the CEO wants to speak with you again so I’m thinking oh this is an offer. No he literally hopped on the zoom mind you six minutes late and says oh are you ready for part two there are two questions. I didn’t get to ask you last week mind you it’s over a week since I spoke with him last, then they continue to string me along for days before telling me I didn’t get an offer
