I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Morningstar (Chicago, IL)
Interview
Basically, it pays to have contacts already at this company, and even that won't get you far in the end. Mstar used to have a "start-up" mindset and real "roll-up-your-sleeves" mentally (like, let's get things done and help each other achieve what needed to be achieved), but these days it consistently fails at trying so hard (miserably) to be very corporate.

The interview was awesome, very well organized. I had three people interviewing me 30 minutes each and at the end of the interview I had to give a presentation on a case that I was given study material a week ahead before the interview. All together it was very pleasant experience.
