I applied in March and received an invitation for a screening call after four weeks. During the screening, the HR representative inquired about my experience and emphasized the need for someone who could join quickly, indicating they wanted to move fast with the role.
They assigned me a home task with a tight deadline of two days, requiring submission by 3 PM on Friday, which seemed unusual. HR mentioned that if I succeeded, the next interview would be scheduled for Monday. I found this confusing since the assessor would check the assignments after 3 PM on Friday, and scheduling an interview for Monday without confirming my availability seemed impractical. Nevertheless, I completed and submitted the assignment on time.
Following this, there was complete silence from HR for two weeks. When I requested an update, I was informed that the hiring team (not the manager) was on leave for a week and that I should wait. After another two weeks of silence, I asked for an update again and was told there would be news by the end of the week. However, there was no communication.
After yet another week of silence, I followed up once more and received a generic rejection email stating they were "moving forward with a more suitable candidate."
Overall, the HR and the company did not seem professional and failed to conduct the interviews professionally.
