      Adjunct Professor Interview

      14 Mar 2025
      Anonymous employee
      New York, NY
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Monroe University (New York, NY) in Feb 2023

      Interview

The interview process included providing a resume, references, and availability. After a phone call to discuss the position and requirements, the next step was a teaching demonstration. This short 15 minute lesson was given in a classroom with students and a formal interview followed. I was asked to talk about my professional history, teaching experience, and my interest in this role specifically.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They asked why I was interested in Monroe specifically.
