For Backend Engineer, first round hackerrank test with algorithmic question and simple SQL. Second round with easier algorithmic question compared to first round and also SQL query followed by questions related to microservices. The interviewer is very friendly, helpful and not in a rush to finish the interview.
For Web Engineer, the questions are related to react and expressJS. Questions tougher than Backend Engineer. Second round, questions are related to making a request to API endpoint and also debug react components to produce the correct output. However, the interviewer is in a very unfriendly manner when asking technical questions and him answering questions related to working culture. Part of the questions were also scrapped probably due to rush in a time. Both issue happened could be due to having the need to interview in a public holiday.
Backend Engineer interview carried out 1 week before Web Engineer. It was smooth and was promised to receive the update by next week latest. Web Engineer isn't very smooth due to tougher questions. Two days later, receiving an email stating that I am not selected for Web Engineer and no reason was provided. Asked for an update on Backend Engineer position, took them 4 days which happen on the next following week to get a reply just to know that I am not selected as well and no reason or feedback was provided
