After applying for a job at Molex, I received a phone call to come in for an interview, about a month or so later. At the time of the interview, I was asked the regular questions, with a few mainly about safety. I also was asked to look at a couple of parts, and tell them what was different about them. He hired me on the spot, and asked me to come in for orientation at a later date. There was a requirement to have a background check, from the state patrol office, brought to the orientation. The orientation process was very informative, and let me to my current job. They do have you sign a paper stating that you will keep all company secrets a priority.
The most important thing to remember at the interview is to make sure they know that safety is your number one priority. Also, the people are really great, and understanding about families here. They have no problem with part-time employees having weekends off for family duties. It seems to be a very family-oriented business. The office personel were very friendly, and I felt welcomed into this company. After orientation, we took a tour so that each of us could meet our supervisors, and know where to go, etc.
