I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Modus eDiscovery (Washington, DC) in Feb 2011
Interview
You either apply online or "someone" in "a department" reaches out to you. You end up speaking to a bunch of different HR or Hiring Manager's your not sure what's going on. Eventually, your told to go online and apply. They then do a pre-screen with HR. It takes 2 weeks to hear back from them and you are then brought in to meet with a barage of circus people who interview you for 3-4 hours and keep you there. Afterwards, about 1 week later, you either come back in to meet with the CEO and more "executives" or you are on the phone with them. Then it takes another week to receive an offer letter where they send you a bunch of outdated forms that are not legally correct.
