Pre-interview, I filled out an online application detailing my education, work history, skills, etc. using an online portal. When I showed up, I got the impression that applicants were expected to fill that online application out on-site and stay for a few hours to do so. They weren't aware that I had already done it. I took a very simple Excel test as well as a couple of prompts for office memos to demonstrate a basic ability to use Word and communication skills. I spoke with a woman from HR who was personable and friendly. Basically, she just wanted me to say that I was willing to do the job. Afterwards, I went to the Vice President's office to speak to him in person and answer a few questions about my work experience, skills and education.
