I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Brooklyn, NY) in May 2015
Interview
Called in for a interview and I came in got asked a few questions and hired on the spot they needed more people. Then waited for orientation the same day and then we got our schedules for the following week. I don't like working here anymore though because the pay is very low I enjoy working with the customers but I hate the fact that we all work so hard to get paid $170 every week.. That's not fair at all this is why so many people quit at my location..
I interviewed at Modell's Sporting Goods (Rockaway, NJ)
Interview
Straightforward, just an interview with the general manager to discuss experience and scheduling / availability. They were able to answer my questions and gave me a response just a few days later.
Light and straight forward process. Not bad for an entry level job. Be aware you will be on your feet at all times. Know how to calculate basic money math and deals

Interview
Interviewer discussed the company's history with me and then asked me questions about sports and the job itself. They also asked me if I had ever shopped at Modell's before.
