Online application, initial call with HR followed by two stage interview process. First stage interview was conducted online with team leader and another manager, the second stage interview was held in person with the department's director and the same managers present at the first stage.
The second stage interview was identical to the first stage interview with the same questions repeated. The difference being was that in person and the department's director conducted the interview. Most of my answers were repetitions of the answers which I gave at the first stage interview. The second stage interview was quite frankly a complete waste of time in my opinion. With it being identical, there was absolutely no need for an additional interview.
The feedback I received was entirely subjective and based on my answers I gave at the second stage which were replicas of answers I gave at my first stage interview which I initially passed. This means the decision was based mainly on the function director's discretion who was only at the second stage interview.
Their hiring processes needs to be refined. Just simply conduct one interview in person with all relevant personnel included.
