      Art Director Interview

      19 Mar 2025
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Miro in Dec 2024

      Interview

I only had one interview as I didn’t progress to the later stages, mainly because I lacked specific product design experience—though I actually do have it but didn’t mention it during the interview. On the positive side, they provided feedback when I asked why they weren’t moving forward, which I appreciated. It also highlighted their somewhat narrow-minded approach. The interview itself was relatively relaxed, though it felt overwhelming at times due to the heavy focus on STAR method/behavioural questions. In my opinion, a first interview should be a bit more conversational—take it from a former tech employee. A solid 5.

      Question 1

Typical interview questions, such as: Why do you want to work here? Tell me about a time you dealt with a difficult stakeholder. What did you do in your last role?
