I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MiraDx in Aug 2024
Interview
It was a three step approach. I liked how fast and streamlined it was. First was the HR screen. Easy. Second was the technical skills. I was given a takehome and the next call was showcasing it and talking shop about other tech stuff. Last call was with the creative director.
Here's the thing, I don't mind rejection. But when I was told I failed the "culture" interview, I was emailed by the HR/Engineer interviewer (same person for first two) that "If there’s any way I can help, please feel free to reach out!"
Guess what happened? I asked for genuine feedback and was promptly ignored. I gave them weeks and a follow-up and still nothing.
If this is how they treat prospective candidates, I'd hate to see how they'd treat people who owe them work for money.

Question 1
Q: Create a web app and showcase it in the next meeting.
I wouldn't waste your time. Take home assessment no feedback. There was nothing wrong with work provided. I added more tests then requested and I deployed the app & added CI/CD for extra measure.
They are either not evaluating based on the assessment or expecting you to go well beyond what they request you to do and choosing not communicate that. Either way, I wouldn't waste your time.
