I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Miller Canfield (Troy, MI) in Nov 2009
Interview
First interview day consisted of interveiwing with three attorneys. Second inteview consisted of interviewing with paralegals and attorneys in the group I would be working with, and after that, last interview with office manager. The office was wonderfully decorated with a very professional environment. The emloyees were friendly and asked the right questions. The work cultured upon my first impression seemed friendly, professional with an emphasis on teamwork.
A recruiter initially contacted me, leading to a phone screen conducted via Teams. Following that, I had an in-person interview. I enjoyed the entire process because it felt like a collaborative partnership from the start. The team was genuinely interested in understanding my strengths and weaknesses to assess my fit for the role, mentor me, and support my professional development. The emphasis on growth and guidance made the experience feel more like a mutual conversation about potential rather than just a traditional interview.
