The whole interview process was weird.
I got a call from HR and my interview got scheduled in the night time.
I had a virtual 1st round with the manager who was sitting out of India. He asked couple of testing scenario, framework questions and coding question.
He went on to describe the company and testing process.
The interview duration got extended but it went well.
My second round got scheduled.
Before the 2nd round, I was given another surprise caliper assessment test which was about the culture fit +aptitude questions. Caliper tests generally mention that this test should not be the basis of assessment.
I did answered the questions quite fairly and aptitude questions were easy but after submission to my surprise HR called and told that I got low marks in the test hence I would not be proceeded to the next round which I got cleared earlier on.
It was shocking as how can a simple test turn out to be an elimination round.
I asked for details for the round and why it is decided to which I didn't get any clear response.
This was one of the worst experiences in terms of interview. The company process is itself questionable and no wonder why the company culture is questioned.
