I spoke with the guy who interviewed me at a career fair, and after looking at my resume and asking questions, he offered me a time slot to come interview. He admitted he did not know off the top of his head what positions were available for Chemical Engineers looking to Intern. At the interview, it appeared that they had already decided against hiring a Chemical engineer before I got there. They went into lots of detail about the position being offered but didn't have a single question for me. I felt like my time had been wasted given that they weren't planning to hire me before I showed up.
