Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback on your interview experience with us. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was not positive.
I apologize for any offense by our invitation to our free training. The training is specifically tailored for people looking to work for an MSP and may still be useful for applicants with an IT background, but not necessarily MSP experience. Glassdoor reviews are anonymous, so I do not know the specifics of the experience on your resume, it could be that the invitation was sent in error, or that the talent scout who sent it may have thought some of the specifics of the course could be a compliment to your previous experience and education.
I also want to address any confusion by the different people you may have been in contact with or the timeline. While we do our best to have each applicant work with only one Talent Scout, with our IT division being our largest and our IT Support positions having a high-volume of applications we do have two Talent Scouts working together on them with help from other team members as needed.
Our quoted time of 1-2 weeks from when a candidate submits their application to when they can expect to hear back is just an estimate. We always send an email when we receive a video interview to set expectations and at times it can take several weeks if we have a large volume of video interviews to review. Our hope is always to get back to applicants as soon as possible, and that appears to have been the case with your interview.
I truly appreciate the time you took to, not only apply for a position with Miles IT, but to provide your feedback on the interview process. All feedback will help us shape and improve the experience for future candidates.
If you would like to discuss your experience in further detail, you can always reach out to us at careers@milesit.com. I wish you the best of luck in your career.
