Interview
I sat down with the store manager she asked me a couple questions then I came back and spoke with the district manager. With the DM it was very nice and he made the whole experience a good one. But honestly with the store manager she seemed as if she was trying to scare me about the job. Saying that it's a lot of work. Although it is I don't believe it was appropriate. I am not sure how it is at other michaels.

Easy interview process, met with multiple people, was able to ask questions, got a tour of the store and explained what I would be doing if I got the job.

Interview
The interview was the easiest interview I’ve ever had! They asked me 3 questions. They were short staffed so I was hired on the spot. Interview took about 5 minutes.
Very casual one on one interview. Moved up within the company to the current position I am at now. It can be hard to get a management position without working there prior. From my experience the store manager is the one to conduct interviews.
