I applied through other source. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Michaels (Quincy, MA) in Sept 2014
Interview
A few people were scheduled for the same time. Sort of a long wait and they were playing very loud music in the reception area. the area was very busy with people in and out of morning meetings with interviewer. I felt the interview should have been scheduled later

Question 1
why do you want to work for this company ? What do you think the goal of our company is. What things are important to you as an employee. Are you willing to work overtime? Do you have time restrictions that conflict the required schedule. Do you think you could see yourself working here?
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Michaels (Riverside, CA) in Jan 2010
Interview
Michaels does not hire many full-time employees so they can afford to spend more time getting to know you and your career goals. I was honest that I wanted to move up and they were receptive to that. They were interested to know what sort of crafts I did, what I could bring to my local Michael's and the company, and what might make me a good fit for the corporate culture. You must be VERY hands on for this or ANY Michael's job, and also extremely organized and very good with time management.
