I wanted to share my recent experience with the MTA recruitment process, which I found to be quite unprofessional. On July 12, I had a first-round phone screen where I was asked basic questions about my previous experience. Following that, the recruiter scheduled a panel interview for July 16.
However, when the time came for the panel interview, none of the interviewers showed up. I waited for 30 minutes and even sent an email to the recruiter explaining the situation, but I did not receive any response. Later that afternoon, I received a rejection letter without any further explanation.
This experience left me quite perplexed and disappointed. Regardless of the outcome, I believe that companies should respect candidates' time and provide clear communication throughout the hiring process.
