I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Metropolitan Transportation Authority (New York, NY) in Jan 2023
Interview
I interviewed in person at the NY office. The interviewers were very friendly. I got an initial offer and they proceeded with my background check. After about 6 months of talking to them, I was rejected at the last step of the onboarding process because of my F1 visa status. This really broke my heart as I was excited about joining MTA ever since I interviewed. They collected all my information in my application, led me on, and then rejected me just before my start date.
