These guys toyed with me. bad. This was a headquarters role with good salary, the opportunity to do meaningful work, and great benefits. I was qualified for the role. I received an email that HR would like to meet with me. I finally got on the phone for my "interview" with an HR contact after being ghosted/no-showed and rescheduled on last minute twice. After the phone call (third time's the charm I guess) I was told I could hear back within 24-48 hours. Mind you, I've already reached out to the agency I'd be working for to find out if the position is even still open because the communication with HR has been so unprofessional. The initial email listed interview dates/times for the wrong day of the month on the wrong year. After the phone call, I never heard back from HR. Sent two emails, nothing. At this point I can't keep pursuing because it's embarassing. I gotta have a little pride, ya know? And job hunting right now in this late-stage capitalism-AI-slop-hellscape is already so demoralizing and embarassing to begin with. Today, two and a half months after my initial contact with MTA HR, they sent me a very impersonal email saying they're not interested. I have a master's degree and I'm funny. I will bring baked goods into work to share. Please someone hire me.
