They put me though a 3 part interview process, with each interview lasting for about an hour.
Interview 1: Awesome interview with a very nice person who had poignant questions
Interview 2: Again, an exec level person who was nice and we had a fantastic conversation (so I thought)
Interview 3: For some reason the exec wanted me to speak to one of their clients via Zoom. It's no big deal, I've done a ton of Zoom meetings. Problem was, I literally have a new MacBook Pro and wanted to test the camera feature about 15 minutes before the interview. Test: Successful!
However, nobody bothered to tell me that my camera feature was still on the "mute" mode until literally the last 5 minutes of our hour-long meeting. It was embarrassing.
Why didn't someone tell me at the start that my camera wasn't turned on? It happens to everyone at some point. I should also mention that I was suffering from food poising the day prior.. so I was probably not on my A-Game but still. I didn't deserve to be completely ghosted but the company,
