I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Metro (Toronto, ON) in Aug 2015
Interview
Interviewed with the head cashier, took about 10 minutes. Once hired you have 3 training shifts, one is where you watch safety videos and the other 2 are training on cash.
Very simple. I received a phone call after submitting my resume. I then went for an in-person interview at the store. I was offered the position on the spot, but ended up declining because of a scheduling conflict.
