I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Metis Nation BC in Sept 2024
Interview
The interview process at MNBC was well-structured, professional, and overall a positive experience.
The process included practical or scenario-based questions, which helped demonstrate how I approach real-life work situations. The interviewers were engaged, respectful, and clearly communicated expectations for the role.
Overall, the process felt organized and transparent, with timely communication throughout. It provided a clear understanding of both the role and MNBC’s work environment.
There wasa bullying, harassment, lack of resources, frequent changes in leadrship and poor leadership, no onboarding and then let go without explanation due to internal poor HR resolutions. Agression and unfair practices and discriminations
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Metis Nation BC
Interview
I was asked during the interview if I self-identify as an indigenous person and when I answered “no,” the interviewer’s demeanour changed and it really felt like just a courtesy call at that point. I was pretty disappointed with that, I didn’t expect that it would be a requirement to be indigenous to work here, and I think a better approach would be to ask candidates during the application how they identify and give them the option not to answer as this may be seen as discriminatory. I was then ghosted after the interview and never heard back despite being told they’d get back to me by end of week.
