Metamarkets interview questions

Interesting and relatively straightforward coding challenge in javascript - wasn't something I'd seen in an algorithms prep book before, but it was definitely a problem that required some critical thinking. Had phone and video interviews with most members of the applications team. HR was cordial and very organized throughout the whole process, scheduling was very flexible and accommodating.

I applied through the website, and initially went through one phone screen. Later, HR scheduled three separate 1-hour technical interviews. After the first one they cancelled the remaining interviews and said they would contact me again. Three days later I got an email saying they'd decided to move forward with other candidates. The hiring manager and the engineers were very polite and the whole process was well organised.
