I applied online. I interviewed at Merchant Link (Silver Spring, MD) in Mar 2019
Interview
The interview process was low pressure. What I mean by this is that the lead I spoke with (Mr.Michael) and the Manager I spoke with (Ms.Williams) didn't allow you to feel like the gravity in the room suddenly increased. The experience was more or less an assessment of my personality and how I would fit within the company rather than a grill session on my technical ability. Management wanted to know who I was, what I'm into as far as movies, sports, tech, and more. They were building a report and at the same time displaying they care for their employees. You felt they needed to know their employees as people, and this is how they keep great chemistry.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I don't really recall many questions but I do recall the request to tell them about myself. This is not a question per say but It was memorable. Most other tech support position grill you on your skills, but don't really get to know you.
