Question 1
Quelle est la dernière actualités en communication/marketing qui vous a marqué et pourquoi ?
Spoke with recruiter and was told that a follow up interview with Hiring Manager would be scheduled. Next day received a canned rejection email - I can deal with rejection, but this was not handled professionally.

Question 1
Tell me about your experience working with customers.
I applied online. I interviewed at Meltwater in Jul 2025
Interview
- first round interview had all the hallmarks of a typical process
- the recruiter just answered “interesting” to every answer I gave
- when talking about salary the CSM base pay was anything between £40-£46k with OTE making the role £58k- £77k.
- After discussing the salary, and the base pay being significantly lower than expected, and definitely lower than the market average, I made the suggestion to discuss further regarding the commission and OTE structure.
- I’ve now received a rejection that says my resume is no longer considered.
We all understand what base pay & OTE pay is, and to be quite honest, the work they are positioning is not that of a £40k salary.
Let’s call a spade a spade, and decide you can’t meet the salary expectations! It’s a difficult market out there, and as a job seeker you have to stand up for yourself and negotiate. This company definitely does not want to negotiate and is now turning down a very qualified person, all for the sake of picking up the phone and having a conversation. The recruiter / talent management team obviously need some further support.
I’d avoid wasting time with this company - there are plenty of other great companies to go and join instead.
