I interviewed with the HR manager for a Marketing Manager role. The interview was friendly and covered typical questions around past experience and ways of working, though it ran to around half an hour rather than the full hour scheduled. The HR manager was personable but made it clear the role was extremely busy and the team understaffed. I was told I would hear back the following day or after the weekend. No update ever came. The HR platform used to track application progress was never updated, and there was no contact information available to follow up or request feedback. After preparing for an interview and taking time out of your day, being told the outcome, even an unsuccessful one, is the bare minimum candidates should be able to expect.
