The initial online interview with the recruiter agency was conducted smoothly and left a positive impression. However, the subsequent face-to-face interview was less favorable and left me feeling uneasy. While the panel expected thoughtful and intelligent responses to their questions, I noticed that when I asked questions to better understand their organization, it seemed to cause irritation, particularly with the HR representative.
It’s important for companies to recognize that interviews are a two-way process. Just as they assess candidates for their suitability, we, as candidates, also evaluate the company’s culture, values, and fit. Unfortunately, the experience revealed several red flags about the company’s approach, which has given me reason to reconsider their alignment with my professional expectations.
