I applied to the role online. I was contacted a week or so later directly by the hiring manager saying they received my application from a source I never used. I was still interested in the role so I engaged the manager to try schedule initial interviews. Then manager then becomes very hard to reach and inflexible with scheduling the interviews. We came to an agreement to meet but then the manager suddenly pushes the meeting back to a time that did not fit in my original availability without even consulting first. I went ahead and canceled the meeting as the manager was not respectful with my time. I wondered where HR was during this whole process. Having an HR contact help with scheduling and answering any initial questions about the company, pay rate, etc would have improved this situation.
