      Application

I applied through university. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Meditab Software (Ahmedabad) in Aug 2024

      Interview

This was an on campus placement interview process, it was divided into three parts: Aptitude round and 2 interview rounds. 1. Aptitude: Questions about computer fundamentals that included topics like DSA, OS, Computer Networks, DBMS, OOP, and Aptitude questions. Just keep your basic clear on computer fundamentals and properly practice aptitude questions, I would suggest indiabix website to practice aptitude and you will pass aptitude round for most of the company, except for companies like goldmann Sachs. The next two rounds were conducted in their office in a single day, the whole process took around 3 hrs. First round was around 45 mins and second one was like 1 - 1.5 hrs. 2. Technical interview Questions on trees, bfs and dfs were asked. Nothing too hard. If your DSA basics are clear then this round would be very easy. I was in fact dominating the round and it boosted my confidence a lot, at that time I didn't knew that there would be another round and I thought I will surely get the job. Then after second round they ask me to wait . After around 15-30 mins, another set of interviewers came. 3. Technical/ managerial interview In this round, first I was asked some questions based on my resume, then they asked what was the hardest piece of code I wrote, and said disjoint set, big mistake as this led the conversation to graphs. And then the next 30 mins they asked me questions on graph concept like MST, Dijkstra, etc. Almost all graph concepts I think. I answered most but not all. Then after about 30 45 mins of interview, another interviewer joins the room, he was a team lead. He took over the interview and then it became mostly behavioural interview. He asked about everything and grilled me on everything some questions were: - Tell me about your previous campus interviews and why do you think u were rejected. - Any one topic in which u think u have expertise. Upon answer of these questions, the conversation would continue, the interview was being very strict and grilling me hard. At the end of the interview, i felt very bad and I was not sure that I would get the job or not. Just keep your nerve and answer your questions with honesty and calmness. They will make it very tough for you in that room. But if you stay calm and answer the questions as u feel, u should be fine. Anyways, i got a mail after a few days stating that I got the job, i felt very happy because it was the first interview that I cleared on campus.

      Question 1

The asked many questions in depth, and the manager asked questions based on wherever our conversation was flowing. But I think the questions on their script would be the following: 1. Questions on trees, bfs dfs, waterjug problem. Mostly conceptual DSA questions. If you brush your concepts then you will be fine. 2. In managerial part, - Tell me about your previous campus interviews and why do you think u were rejected. - Any one topic in which u think u have expertise. And based on your answer, more questions.
