Interviews vary by background: Mine was pure mathematics
3 stages: First a 1 to 1 going through aims in the role and interest. Aptitude etc
2nd an online evaluation. Check emails regularly, received email 2 days before deadline to complete this eval. Psych evaluation, English competency, mathematics speed test (arithmetic)
3rd a 2on1 with Head of Risk. In my case a purely technical interview. Different stats methods, knowledge of different relevant programming languages, asking about self learning and online research to see if will learn without being watched over etc

Two steps. First with HR talking about your habits, past experiences starting from the academic career. Step two with Office manager and Chief. Mainly technical but standards questions related to the industry and the job.
