Media Partners Corporation, now Atana, Inc., has an experienced Executive team of former CEOs and CTOs from reputable large companies. Yet, the process was akin to joining a family atmosphere in a small organization. Skills are required and will need to be demonstrable. Be prepared with clear examples to share your results and contributions specific to the role you are being considered for.

Question 1
What made me want to say yes to working at the organization?
I applied online. I interviewed at Media Partners (New York, NY) in Jun 2021
Interview
I was delighted when I received the email prompting me that I was selected to move forward in the hiring process - the email told me our next step was a 'phone screening interview'
Media Partners sent me an email with the calendar invite to which I willfully accepted. However, the interviewers didn't accept the invite - I was left in limbo wondering if this interview was even going to happen.
It did - I dialed into the interview only to be there left disappointed and waiting on the interviewers - they arrived late to the interview and extremely unprepared.
Even though the Calendar invite and email said a phone screen they agitatedly urged me to turn on my camera. This wasn't an option for me as I was on my phone. The interviewers reluctantly proceeded with out any direction and with a poor attitude.
The interview had zero structure and was extremely awkward. The interviewers didn't even bother to introduce themselves, tell me about the company or position or even anything about them. I felt like I was talking to complete strangers.
The interviewers didn't even bother to learn where I worked previously and were distracted by their cell phones (it went off during the interview which was extremely rude)
I ended up cutting them off and explaining to them their lack of preparation and carelessness wasn't accepted and I excused myself from the interview.
I tried to email HR after the interview to let them know about my poor experience and my email was blocked.
Whoever their CEO is should know that their company is being represented extremely poorly by these two individuals.
