As a candidate, such generic feedback holds minimal value, even when accompanied by the well-worn advice to "regularly check the website for new opportunities." A more enriching candidate experience would undoubtedly stem from constructive and specific feedback. Understanding the exact reasons behind decisions at each stage would be exceptionally beneficial. Rather than a broad-strokes explanation, a nuanced account of the factors influencing the decision would be genuinely appreciated. This personalised feedback, tailored to individual circumstances, is the kind that truly elevates the value for candidates like myself.
