Interview
My CV was passed onto the Kuala Lumpur McKinsey through a contact and I was invited to take the McKinsey PST.
The PST is NOT easy and thorough preparation and practice is required.
After a week or so, I was informed I had passed the test and was invited to the London office for a first round interview.
This consisted of the standard 20 mins personal experience interview and then the 40 minute case study.
As expected, nothing was straightforward and I knew I hadn't nailed it (which is necessary.

Question 1
"Describe a time when you had to lead a group of people through a difficult situation".

Gave assessment. Waiting 1st round. But, here the assessment and resume are scored together to reach next round. Might take 1-3 weeks for invite. Assessment has only 20% - 30% weightage.
The recruiter was great! 2 rounds of 5 interviews, first was 2 associates, second was 3 partners. My first round, the interviewers spoke absolutely broken English and made it extremely difficult to understand what they are trying to say. My second interviewer was extremely rude as well. Honestly comes down to who interviews you and the case selection that will determine your fate
