      FLDP Intern Interview

      17 Mar 2026
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through university. I interviewed at Marsh

      Interview

The first round interview was 30 min behavioral with the recruiter and 30 min technical with a senior individual who graduated from the FLDP program. The behavioral was very natural. The technical was a very mechanical list of questions that were read outloud. It was very challenging and basically requires you to have investment banker level of knowledge.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

What is enterprise value? What are some of the things you would look at when assessing capital structure? If you are a CFO, which business units would you cut? What happens in Y0 and Y1 to all financial statements when on Y0 you issue 100 debt with 10% interest and 40% tax rate. In which cases is EV greater than market value? If your client had a wildfire, would you expect revenues to increase or decrease? How would you project that change in revenue?
