Interview
Firstly there was some online testing as part of the online application. This included a personality test and some situational questions. A few hours after submission I received a phone call and was asked a couple of questions such as "Why do you want to work for Marriott?", "Why do you feel you are qualified for this position?" and "What do you understand about this role and its responsibilites?". I was then asked to come into their offices for an in-person interview with two members of the HR team.
As the interview was to be conducted using the STAR format (Situation, Response, Action, Result), it was suggested that I become familiar with this interview style and answer their questions with very specific examples rather than with "blanket" examples. For example - "In my previous job - I once had a difficult customer who.... ", as opposed to, "In my previous job - I often had difficult customers..."

Applied online. Had to take a creative route through Facebook to get someone to talk to about position. Interviewed and was told it would be 2-3 weeks before I would know if I would move to the next part which is training.

first there's a call from HR to ask about your CV and previous experience and little about yourself, if you pass this first they ask about your availability to make an interview face to face, there a lot of question about your attitude to manage different situation at work (like problems with customer or colleagues) you have also a telecom call to improve you native skill language.
