The interview process at Maplebear was thorough yet welcoming.
It began with an initial screening of my resume and qualifications, followed by a phone interview where I was asked about my teaching philosophy and experience with young children.
Next, I was invited for an in-person interview with the principal and senior teachers, where we discussed classroom management, child development practices, and collaboration with parents. I also had to conduct a trial lesson to demonstrate my ability to engage and manage a group of preschoolers effectively.
Finally, there was a feedback session and a meeting with management to go over expectations, salary, and school culture. The process concluded with reference and background checks.
Overall, the process was well-structured, supportive, and gave me a clear understanding of the school’s values and teaching environment.
