Core portion of interview process was a take home assignment. Assignment was vague and oversized, requiring more time than I was comfortable spending for an unpaid interview process. Spent ~6hrs on the assignment before submitting a working solution, leaving some items to be completed. Submission of test project was to be done via email attachment, which in 2021 seems outdated and, depending on your email client, impossible.
Review of the test project consisted of the interviewer having me screenshare, demo the solution, and then flying through the code. Very little time spent on actual code review items (Any issues with this implementation? Why did you choose this technique? How can we improve this section?).
