I had a first initial interview with a recruiter and I actually enjoyed it and thought it went well. I was immediately booked for the second interview with a member of the marketing team. During the interview I noticed the person interviewing me wasn't taking any notes and the interview ended extremely quickly. About a week later, I still hadn't heard anything so I emailed the recruiter to ask for an update. I was told that they had decided to go with another candidate but was given no further feedback or explanation. I emailed back asking for feedback and, weeks later, I still haven't heard back (and I doubt I will). I'm disappointed that Mambu do not feel the need to update candidates on their progress unless they are chased by the candidate. I'm also disappointed that I have not received any feedback. The lack of interest in my second interview did make me wonder if there was ever any intention of taking my application further or whether I was simply a box to tick.
