Malak Jewelers interview questions

My interview experience at Malak Jewelers was extremely positive. I was ushered in to a very welcoming environment, and was immediately offered a water. Mr. Malak, the owner, spent a significant amount of time with me. He was familiar with my resume. He asked me great questions. I feel like he actually took the time to understand me and who I was as a person, beyond what was on a piece of paper. He toured me around the store and introduced me to employees. It was a very positive experience.

My interview at Malak Jewelers was unexpected in the best of ways. I walked into their store to get a bracelet fixed and was given a warm welcome by Mr. Malak and the staff. My discussion with Mr. Malak quickly turned into an impromptu interview. While this might have been intimidating with a different employer, Mr. Malak kept the interview both casual and professional and quickly put me at ease. It felt like an interview should, with both of us interviewing each other to determine that our partnership would be mutually beneficial. I have been working with Malak Jewelrs for over a month now, and I can safely say that the interview was an accurate representation of what it is like to work here: friendly, creative, demanding, and rewarding.
