Probably the longest and least informed interview I’ve done. Started with HR call. Then given option for virtual or in person interview. Chose in person and felt that went great. During both of these interviews I was warned about the CEO and how picky and rude he is. Was given take home work (no pay) that took 3-4 hours to complete. Prepared the R script by the deadline and was ghosted for almost a month. Finally received another interview (this time Virtual after me reaching out) and was expected to walk through my work. CEO showed absolutely zero interest in my work. Did not even care to let me explain what I had done. Rambled on about his vision for the company and how smart he was, all while belittling the work I had done for him. Once again I was ghosted, and reached out again a few weeks later. I explained how I needed to know for school whether or not I had the job because I was in an internship class (already late due to poor communication of Magnus) They wanted to hire me! But no offer was ever received or communication thereafter. I was told I would start in late august and heard nothing. Keep in mind this was all for an INTERNSHIP at a company with like 10-15 people. They low balled me on the original offer and I hope nobody would accept for the job at hand. Whole place seemed like a stressed out mess. Absolutely awful experience. I feel bad for the employees who actually answer to that man. Just not human. I am surprised his employees stay…
