I applied via linkedin, Its a 4 stage interview.
1- Initial HR screening call where she will confirm whether you have worked on required tech stack which is (react, node, aws) and you have been leading a team.
2- Cultural fit interview 1 hour with Project manager Delwyn a very nice guy, he will ask you team management and leadership stuff.
3- Technical Interview 1 hour and 45 mins. which is a simulated code review where you need to review the code of a small javascript app and point out all the issues on-call with their engineer.
4- Final interview 30mins with CTO (Nick Novak). Now HR will describe this interview as a general discussion interview where he will ask you about your interesting projects and your thought process but actually this is a technical interview and he will throw at you all kind of impractical theoretical questions most of them not alligned with the role you are being interviewed for.
To summarise, all the other three interview don’t mean a damn thing, all that matters is if you can impress Nick in those 30 mins. He would judge you in those 30 mins whether you are a suitable skilled engineer for the that position or not.
If you fail to do so then they would send you a templated Thank you email for wasting your time as all four interview took a month in total. Candidate who followed you for a month and 4 interviews, atleast you own him the explaination about what is missing on his part so atleast he can benefit from the feedback and improve. Highly disappointing process.
Not recommended!
The only thing i appreciate is the simulated code review instead of having to solve some highly impractical leetcode problem which is more practical and realistic.
