Interview
There is a competency test, then two interviews. One is typically with a manager in the department you're applying for an a second interview is typically with the VP or CEO. They'll run through your resume, your competency test and ask situational questions, just to get a gauge on how you think. Overall a pretty fast process. One odd thing is they will typically ask what your current job salary is, instead of your expectation.

Question 1
How would you plan for a project where there are limited personnel resources?

Interview
I applied online. 2 weeks later, I was contacted to take an assessment in their office. If I did well, they would have contacted me again for an in-person interview.
Upon arriving for the assessment, the company seemed very disorganized. They could not print the tests and made me and 3 others wait for 20 minutes while they figured it out. Then, they took us into a back room where ~10 other people were already taking the test. We were told if we needed calculators, there were like 5 we could share. The assessment seemed easy but was also pretty long and asked questions about grammar, management skills and basic SQL. I turned in a blank test and walked out. As I was leaving, a man walked into the office and started yelling at the man behind the desk about how he took the assessment and hadn't heard back in weeks.

Question 1
I never got to the interview stage. But at the assessment stage, they asked me nothing, not even my name.
I applied online. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at MagView (Burtonsville, MD) in Nov 2016
Interview
The process started off in about June. I received an email asking me several question and stating that they were trying to fill this position ASAP. I immediately responded with my answers just for them to tell me within minutes that they no longer needed to fill the position. (I assumed it was because of the pay that I asked for). Later this year in October, I got another email saying that they wanted me to come in for a competency test. I went and completed the test and the next week the scheduled me for an interview. In the interview, I was very confident, everyone was super nice and almost made me feel like I definitely had the job without a doubt. I was instructed to send 3 references and a brief summary as to why I believed I was fit for the position. Now I had studied this job in and out so of course I was prepared. Never received a response to the email, never got an update on the position and still have yet to get an update. I have called just about every week since, and every time there is some excuse as to why they haven't made a decision. It's extremely frustrating because I feel like either I have the job or I don't, just let me know what it is.
